Default The Future of Core Networks

Do you think that the Core networks will survive the IP boom and remain in a similar/current form
or will after a few years only the Cisco and Juniper experts will be leading the Mobile Core Networks ?

Smile core network will not change by anyone wish

Yes it is true that the internet and mobile network will be merged in coming years, and therefore the mobile network operators will find some difficult time to adjust the internet protocols to their core network but I don't believe that the core network protocols or applications will be decided by solely cisco or any such companies, it is because, there are engineers in IEEE who makes the standards based on the current situation of mobile network, they will certainly take the advice from mobile network operators as this is the best way to get best solution.

Default Core Networks

My business partners and I were talking about this last night. In the not too distant fututer, companies will no longer buy PRIs or IP circuits. They will issue everyone iPhones or similar and have a PBX app on the phone for 4 digit dialing, etc. All access to PSTN and IP networks will be provided by the smart phone. Companies will cut their telecom bills in half.
