Default Is SSN in SS7 same as Port nummber in TCP/IP

Just question for my understanding
Can we say that sub system number SSN hold the same value in SS7 as a port number holds in a TCP/IP Network?

Like with SSN we specify that which remote NE window we are going to communiacte with and this is same with Port in IP networks ?

Yes you can say that.
port identifies a door for a specific service to be accessed.
SSN identifies a specific database/application to be accessed.
