Content download via DD

Hi ,

Can somebody help me on , how to handle DD ( document descriptor ) in php / perl ?
for instance , when user wants to download a content from a wap site , that DD will be helping to user to download the content correctly and it is interactive with user directly .
can i see few examples for php/perl ?
